Hike the Heights is a challenging and rewarding sponsored trek taking place on Saturday 4th July 2026, created to support the ongoing projects of vision4kids in Kenya. Participants will meet at Meelmore Lodge at 9:30am before setting off through the rugged beauty of Slieve Commedagh and onward to the summit of Slieve Donard — the highest peak in Northern Ireland. It’s a route that rewards every step with stunning views and a powerful sense of achievement.
By taking part, you’ll be helping vision4kids continue our vital work in Kenya — providing education, daily meals, health support, and a safe learning environment for children at Grace Academy, our mission school in Kiambururu, Kenya. Your effort in the Mournes will directly fuel this work, making this particular challenge more than just a climb — it’s a chance to make a real and lasting difference.
Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or simply up for a challenge, this is your opportunity to get involved. Rally friends, family, or colleagues and be part of something that will push you physically and impacts lives globally.
Registration is £10 per participant (Click here to register!), and each hiker is asked to raise a minimum of £50 using the sponsor sheet attached below.
