We are taking on the Glenveagh Hike as a challenge to raise vital funds for vision4kids!
Glenveagh National Park in County Donegal spans over 16,000 hectares of rugged mountains, pristine lakes, and native oak woodlands centered around a 19th-century castle. Its hiking challenges range from flat lakeside paths to grueling 16-kilometre mountain treks, alongside steep climbs that reward hikers with panoramic valley views.
And it's all for a worthwhile cause...
Our school, Grace Academy, is growing — and we are preparing to add a Junior Secondary School alongside our existing primary school. This is a huge opportunity for the children we serve, but it also brings significant costs: new classrooms, resources, more teachers, and additional support staff.
Our long-term goal is to build a community of committed supporters through programmes like Sponsor a Child, helping provide stability and opportunity for years to come. But right now, we need to cover the upfront costs to make this expansion possible.
So on 2nd October - we're hiking through Glenveagh, not just for the challenge, but for the children whose futures will be shaped by this next chapter.
As the Bible reminds us: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9.
Would you consider supporting us and helping vision4kids give more children the opportunity of a quality Christian education?
Every donation, share, and prayer makes a difference!
Thank you
